    when do you start? if you start on cert 3, it would take about 1 1/2 years. Cert 3 -> Cert 4 -> Diploma -> Advanced Diploma each cert/dip takes half a year to complete.

    It's definitely possible to transfer to usyd from tafe. I did, but I'm not sure about vet sci/animal studies (I though it was quite odd when I saw people bringing dogs to tafe! lol now I know why..) Get in touch with usyd and ask them if the tafe course you're planning to study will enable...

    USYD or Macquarie? Have an urgent decision to make!

    I had to make the same decision.. I chose usyd because I visited macquarie and found it pretty exhausting. Total journey (two-way) took well over 3 hours and I had to get off trains 3 times. Macquarie's campus did seem very beautiful though. The library looked looked very impressive.
