    Enrolling Error

You can only enrol in semester one anyway (4 units). Not a big deal. They might fix that issue in semester two.

    Withdraw

Considering you don't get the iPad until semester starts, it won't be an issue.

    Cheapest option for train/bus travel

I'm sure if you contact Department of Transport they can help you out if you have a receipt number. In fact I'm sure I've read it somewhere that they have to have redundancy measures for >30 day tickets.

Any way to find out what textbooks we need in advance?

The UNSW bookshop (www.bookshop.unsw.edu.au) will update closer to the semester starting for the textbooks you need. As many people have suggested, wait till you actually start uni to see whether courses will be highly dependant on the texts or not.

As you can probably tell, it's probably a more Science-focused course than you're looking for. I recommend considering other options if you really don't like the thought of doing Science.

Questions Regarding Census Dates, Enrolment and Tax File Numbers

They might stop you from enrolling until you get one. But since it's Monday you can hop over and get one on the spot from the TFN. They do it right there for you. Those that say "you have until end of March", that's if you have your actual TFN. If you don't have you MUST show a Certificate of...
