    Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread

That is true. However, I do not believe that banning them from medicare is the way to solve the issue. In fact, that would be counterproductive and in effect bolster their views. A more feasible option is required in order to make a safe space whilst not infringing upon human rights. I do not...

    Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread

I understand your standpoint but medicare is considered a basic human right. Infringing upon human rights is oppressive and in my opinion, taking away the ability to get treated for injuries is morally unjust. I am in no way a supporter of the anti-vaxx movement, I am pro-vaccine. However, by...

    Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread

I think there's a distinction between anti-vaxx and vaccine-hesitant. A lot of people seem to conflate the two into the same category and that in itself is counterproductive; some are vaccine hesitant because of how quickly it was produced and the relative lack of tests to other vaccinations...

    Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread

I think that they shouldn't have to get the jab if they don't want to. They should seperate unvaccinated and vaccinated students for the HSC in different classrooms and have everyone be tested etc. Anyway most people do want to get vaccinated so the amount unvaccinated wouldn't make it hard to...

    2021 HSC

Yeah I was counting on trials to carry my rank; I always do the best out of all my exams in trials. Hopefully I can still do well enough.

    Advice? Atar prediction

Yeah cause top 10 in English generally get 95's and higher in my school whilst in economics, if I can do well enough in externals and with an internal of 92-93 I should be able to get there

    2021 HSC

Yeah NESA's gonna have to make a decision there. The problem rn is there's so much uncertainty around trials and HSC; the premier hasn't made a decision yet and its just exacerbating the anxiety of yr 12 students who are already burnt out.

    2021 HSC

Imagine trying to have 200 kids 1.5m away from each other outside; it's impossible. Vaccinations take 2 weeks after the second jab to come into effect and 'rapid antigen testing' talks 1 hour for 10 tests. A lot of parents and students are just concerned with the health risks and I completely...

    2021 HSC

some schools have people coming from LGA's; there's a problem there. Also, they can't "ban mingling"; at least not in my school lol everybody talks together before and after the exam lol. We realise it does more academic harm than good but we're prioritising health first. Health is more...
