Re: Chem How HARD!! Bad, why would they give a mark for a wrong piece of information.

    esimate your mark?

98/100 max, 90/100 min RAW. I think i'm gonna score well.

    fuck yeah STATE RANK BABE

I finished 45 minutes early and only screwed up two one markers, aside from that i wrote correct responses to all questions, but i know that i will be marked in such a way that removes more marks, and hence i am not going to claim i am getting a state rank.

    fuck yeah STATE RANK BABE

Yeah, your gonna be eating your hat when the marks come out.

    fuck yeah STATE RANK BABE

Yeah, its a bit premature to think you got a state rank. I know I only lost two marks definitely but I may end up losing more.

Yes, that seems to be the right anwser.

    General Thoughts: Chemistry

The 3rd step was not in equilibrium. I also thought i went well in the exam, 19/20 or 20/20 in multiple choice and near full marks in the main and option. Easily over 85, probs low to high 90's. I finished with a full 45 minutes and that was taking the exam slowly.

It was showing that you understood le chataliers principle and the effect of temperature and pressure on the rate or reaction and yield of reaction. It was a good question because you had to apply knowledge as apposed to just regurgitating something that a teacher shoved into your cranium.

    Multiple Choice

OMGOD, i thought those symbols where just arrows... dammit. worst mistake ever. i was reading left to right.

But silver is incredibly unreactive, more so than nickel. The less positive a metals reduction potential is the more reactive it is.

    Multiple Choice

    I am confident in my answers, there are no solutions as of yet though. 1/a 2/d 3/c 4/d 5/b 6/a 7/b 8/c 9/a 10/c 11/d 12/c 13/c 14/c 15/a 16/b 17/d 18/a 19/b 20/b

    Multiple Choice

Nope, 9 isn't d it is a. It has nothing to do with the coordinate covalent bond. ozone is just like water except the hydrogens are replaced with oxygens, the molecule is bent but the electronegativity is the same so it isnt as polar as water but it is still polar.

question d was about the experiment of metals decaying

in clockwise starting from top left. 2 is identical to 4( or your picture is wrong), 1 is identical to 5, 2 is identical 6 probably wrong but still please have a look.

    Multiple Choice

    10 is a, 11 is c, 18 is definitely a

    Multiple Choice

15 is a, the volume is determined by the number of moles, which is determined by the number of protons in the acid. Since they are the same the volume is also the same.

    General Thoughts: Chemistry

Nope, you can calculate pH using both systems. But it requires harder concentrations for bases that dont have OH and acids without H so for that purpose its really irrelevant.

    Multiple Choice

1/a 2/d 3/c 4/d 5/b 6/a 7/b 8/c 9/a 10/c 11/d 12/c 13/c 14/c 15/a 16/b 17/d(i think from memory) 18/a 19/b 20/b 15 is a due to the fact that the volume of NaOH is determined by the number of moles of acid which it reacts with, the number of moles of acid is determined by how many protons it can...

Don't worry about it, it was only one mark.
