    double vs single degree?

If you like two things, then you take a double degree. Of course two degrees would give you more opportunities than one. Just do what you like, imo.

Well if you like them all - go do it. You have a whole year, you just have to manage your time well. Also for EX2, I'm assuming you're doing a speech?

    Math help

Re: Math help (Because Carrot made me do this) x at +/- 100 is the 'limit' (technically not, but for your purposes - good enough) and the other ones are to examine the behaviour near where the function isn't defined. try x = 3 and see you can't get anything.

    Math help

Re: Math help (Because Carrot made me do this) Graph y = \frac{x^{2}}{x^{2}-9} so basically the first thing we want to do is find where this graph is undefined convince yourself that these are when x = 3, and when x = -3 so we draw those dotted lines on our graph so we have three sections...

    Career options with Maths?

Fine, risk analyst was a bad example. My point is - again - there is no job called 'mathematician'. Yes, you're probably going to find a counter example where someone lists for a 'mathematician' - but my point is that there is no general job that is called 'mathematician', unlike 'economist'...

    Career options with Maths?

My point is that most jobs that use mathematics aren't labelled "Mathematician". They're labelled other things like risk analyst or whatever. You say 'economist' and people understand. Same thing for physicists and chemists. You say mathematician, and that doesn't exactly make as much sense as...

Am I able to do this at University Of New South Wales?

No, you take both because you have to transfer into these courses. It's not "well okay guys, i've done science for a year - i want to do science/arts now" You have to transfer into the program, meaning you must have minimum requirements markwise to get in, along with hoping that there's spots...

Someone explain if this is true or not.

ATAR means nothing. Uni marks is what counts. 70 WAM has no chance. Minimum requirements are minimum requirements.

Someone explain if this is true or not.

75 WAM to be considered. It's not automatic. Depends on places and stuff.

95+ with that low a ranked school? 1st in everything. And overall, your subjects as a whole scale meh. But you shouldn't care about that. Concentrate on doing well.

    Options for the HSC

Well if you don't like it, drop it. You're wasting your time in class if you're not even going to be interested in it nor feel motivated to work for it. If you need it for uni, you can take a bridging course - I suppose.
