Lecturer-in-charge, tutor-in-charge... I'd say it's good. And what do you mean more strict in terms of marking? Regardless of tute, I'd think that all tutors have to mark to the same sort of standard.

Well ACCT1511 requires ACCT1501 first, so you can determine if you'd like 1511 on if you liked 1501. Of those, I'd pick ECON1102 because I enjoyed Microeconomics - and I think Macroeconomics is based a lot on HSC Economics.

I can tell you not to pick ACTL1001 unless you're wanting to be an actuary because that thing kills WAM. Also, I didn't like FINS1613. It's calculation based financial stuff, and I think you have to be inclined in that sort of finance way to really enjoy the subject - and hence, be...

MATH1251 teaches you maths you will need for the later Actuarial courses. Actuarial is pretty much half-maths, after all.

Start off doing Commerce core subjects like ACCT1501 or ECON1101 or FINS1612.
