Hard practice and active learning. You don't just -know- it so it's easy. Sure, it may be easy for you to pick up the concepts but one doesn't just ace the test without at least a bit of work.

Yes. Yes and yes. Viva Voce is basically a talk where you go to your teacher and answer a few questions about your work. Like... iirc, I had to answer a few questions on what sorts of research I was doing for my work, and I think a question about what I was aiming to achieve with the work...
