What do you mean you chose a subject you can't handle? You can still unenrol and re-enrol now and still get pretty good classes. Enrolment closes like two weeks into semester, after that you can only change tutes and lectures by going to Student Central in person, or something.

No, because if you look at the handbook: " Prerequisite: ACTL1001 and MATH1251 or School Approval" You need to do those subjects first. Unless you're very smart and can get School Approval.

They usually don't allow first years to overload. In later years or semesters yes, and if your marks are high. But always I'd think you'd have to check with your Program Office.

Yes, you can be an actuary because Actuaries require the Actuarial Commerce major - no Quant. Risk major. And there is still point in doing Maths if you want to do maths, because Actuarial maths is maths with finance, and is not actual mathematics by itself.
