For those in first year, remember to not just blindly make your timetables. Account for walking distance between classes Don't be like "okay, i'll put my 1pm class in the biomedical theatres and my 2pm class in the law building" (current unsw students will get the joke)

From what I read, you get 'invited'. Personally, I think it involves getting an email from them with an offer for that major, or if you go up to the School of Maths and Stats and ask nicely and you have good maths marks, they'll "invite" you there.

Perhaps BIOS1101 is only available in Semester 2.

No, it won't. If you want to go to UWS, put it as your first preference and wait to see if you get an offer for it.

Yes, but you will also need separate bus and train tickets if you don't want to get a MyMulti. More often than not, the extra convenience of a MyMulti does it for me.

If you want to get all technical, at the bottom of the handbook you'll have links to specialisations. Find your major, and it'll tell you what subjects you take in Year 1, Year 2 and so on for that major. Pick and choose 4 courses from the majors you want, and then enrol.

High marks. And you'll go through red tape in external transfers. Seriously, Arts offers a Commerce major - so there is pretty much zero reason to go to UWS when you can do the same thing almost at UNSW already.

Yes, it's free and pretty quick. At O-Week (or any other time for that matter) you can go up to the Library help desk or so and get your laptop or iPhone or any other device connected to 'UniWide' (which is what our system is called)...

They don't offer it in Semester 2. You have to do it in Stage 1, so you have to do it first semester. (them's the breaks, sorry)
