    Sick for exams, what happens?

I know a kid who didn't go to any exams/assts at all, he was able to rely on his mum (who was a doctor) to get fraudulent medical certificates. These people fail in the long term, he didnt even make it to uni - so dont worry. Last time i heard he was getting drunk and "trying" to get into tafe -...

    Sick for exams, what happens?

I would rephrase it in a better way, but yes it is. I used to have a little saying, if i was missing both my arms and both my legs - i would still drag myself to school. The point of and illness and misadventure form is to help allocate fair marks that i would have otherwise have gained through...

    Sick for exams, what happens?

unsure tbh, we used to organise it through our year-master, but it changes from school to school. Look at their personalities and choose the one that would best help you. lol yep, its very hard to have an argument [and win] with my mum :P i pretty much gave a hint as above. * If you...

Is Law/Actuary Studies degree really hard?

tbh i cant see many cases where both would be needed. The closest job i could think of: people who calculate risks for insurance companies etc - but they only have the actuarial degree.

    Sick for exams, what happens?

Actually i was thinking about this before, i remember when i was doing one of my trial exams i was incredibly sick. I did the exam and i went and got a doctors certificate. I remember my parents having an argument with the teachers if i shouldn't have gone to the exam or not. My parents are a...

    Traffic lights

How the fuck would i know? Do you even know who i am? or where i live(d)? no, so stfu. Unfortunately for you there are many highways in Australia where truckies will tailgate you and there's nothing you can do about it. No the world doesn't revolve around you and your astra, and you're not...

    Sick for exams, what happens?

yeah no worries. They just base the mark on what should have got if you were not sick/what they feel is appropiate. From my old school they look at your past marks (and the marks of the exam if you went), then ask the teacher how you were performing, class attendance/if youve been mucking...

    Sick for exams, what happens?

okay lets look at two situations a) You're an 'a' grade student, you've been recieving solid 80-90s all year and youve never handed in an exam/assessment late. You've just been sick the night before an exam. b) You are scraping passes, you're late to most classes. You're a bit of a loose...

Is Law/Actuary Studies degree really hard?

true, but depends what your definition of "sponging" is. I know a bloke who gets everything payed for (textbooks, car, accom, food etc) - plus he gets $400 a month speding money. Now thats sponging lol

Is Law/Actuary Studies degree really hard?

If you live on campus at a catered college then you won't pay any transport fees etc. You may also be able to get your olds to pay for the college fees* (and maybe even tetbooks), all you will need to pay for is drinking money. I still have to pay for textbooks, but i still think its a pretty...

    Sick for exams, what happens?

you have to get a doctors certificate for the day of the exam (they probably wont backdate them). Photocopy it, and give it to the exam supervisors/year masters to submit with an application for special consideration. EDIT - if its something piss weak like a cold etc, then no you won't get...

    can't have sex

I know what you mean.. From their POV, they would say something along the lines of "we should still be able to love each other (have that emotional connection) without having sex etc...why is sex necessary", and apart from pleasure/joy/connection, its a hard response to answer to. If they feel...
