Everyone one of my friends with honours has H1A - just a matter of remembering theorms (really boring.) In terms of thesis' my friend got a 90+ mark by simply writing a paper which serves to introduce the topic and playing around with some matricies to get 3 individual research results.

Or you just get H1A in mathematics and get an instant PhD scholarship for $35k a year.

theres no jobs in medical/biomedical science edit: pharmacology is the effect drugs have on the body from a biological perspective its not the same as pharmacy.

I think ANU is the only uni which makes getting into law transfers pretty hard (someone tried to apply with a good D average and got rejected.) Search transfer threads on http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum/80 - if I know anyone who has done it its from there.

Credit-Distinction average should be fine to get you into either - not like a D average in Comm is hard anyway.

Do the units in adv math interest you?

They have the best Actuarial Science program in the country. Looking at the units I'd put them under ANU's advanced stream - they are quite close to USyd and UNSW in terms of material but I personally haven't heard of any staff from there. They'd be better than UWA for what that's worth.

Go for interesting shit over the rankings - The scholarship is pretty darn nice though (I get $20k if I get into ANU - being poor and all!)
