    help with this question :/

For these questions, work backwards. First find out the volume of excess HCl you have using the titration information. Then you know how must acid was left to react with the sodium carbonate and then you solve.

CSSA Paper 2 - English Advanced

No it won't. See above ^. Actual marks from other schools are irrelavant to your ATAR as everything gets moderated. If it didn't, all schools would just give everyone 100%

CSSA Paper 2 - English Advanced

No, his point is that the internal marks in OTHER schools have no impact on your own mark which is true.

who marks the cssa advanced papers

Your school marks it- the examiners would have set the paper.

CSSA Trials: English AOS Paper 1

Yeah pretty much. I wouldn't use the 'I' or whatever but in your thesis, when you establish your argument, instead of agreeing fully with the question, outline your alternative view

CSSA Trials: English AOS Paper 1

Depends to what extent you agree with it. For our essay today (not CSSA) it asked that and I was like "yes, its very important BUT there are other factors as well"

CSSA Paper 2 - English Advanced

Mod A. I'm comfortable with Hammy and Mod C should be alright, just a bit worried about running out of time in Mod A.

What are your rituals/routines before an exam?

Depends on the exam- for maths I always listen to pump up music to get in the zone, for chem/eco, I talk to people about random stuff and don't think about the exam, for english, I talk to people about the exam and form last minute tactics

    freaking out, fantastic essays

Remember that the exam booklet is pretty small- i.e. it doesn't fit that many words to a page. And yeah, if you know what you are talking about and have a clear vision in your head where the essay is going, often you won't need to add/subtract much at all

    I'm Scared

What's your school rank and your ranks inside school. The actual marks are semi-meaningless. For example, at our school, people that get 50% in english would still get a band five overall

Trial HSC - stressed or not?

Personally though I prefer this- just get english over with first and then you can do other subs

CSSA Trials: English AOS Paper 1

I wrote 4.5 for short answer, 5.5 for creative, 5.5 for essay

    Ranking and final hsc mark.

NO. You keep 98 as your exam mark and then your assessment mark will be determined on a variety of factors not neccessarily the fifth best place (things like spacing between ranks are taken into account). But anyway, assume you get 80, then your HSC mark is (98+80)/2

CSSA Trials: English AOS Paper 1

Well then why not disagree with it? With the question our school gave us, it asked to what extent did our studies support this and I basically said "Yes its important BUT and then disagreed a bit as well"
