Hi i need to repeat year 12, but my parents do let.

Re: My parents do not let me repeat, when i want to because i think its the best for I agree with this. There are many alternative pathways to get to where you want to go. If you repeat, what guarantee do you even have that you'll magically improve to a hectic atar? I would recommend just...

    atar estimate?

Your raw marks essentially mean nothing because we have no idea how your school marks. Say for english, what are you ranked and what is your school rank? If you mean though an assessment (moderated) mark of 75 for english, then 90 is impossible as you'd need 105 to average to 90.

    Hi!

If you come first and get a raw 100 you are guaranteed to come at least equal top in the state EXCEPT for potentially 3U maths. This is because quite a few people in the state get full marks in 3U and they then look at your performance in other maths subs (4U). Therefore you might not state top...

Trial HSC - stressed or not?

Don't worry bro- that was a very hard test, especially in comparison to past papers. Virtually everyone got owned

You don't need perms and combs for that- I haven't done perms and combs yet either. You just look at each one in turn and try to go intuitively. For example, his first prediction is an X and there are 4 X's left out of 8 cards so he has a 4/8 chance of getting that right. Then his next guess is...

Yeah it would have been a bit easier on the whole than HSC - not sure how much though. It was definitely harder than our past trials which was good. I'll send you a copy when we get it back.

Hopefully 96-97/100. I doubt I would have come first- some guys will probs get 98 or 99 but except for the top end, everyone will get raped. The test though was still easier than HSC Q8's and stuff though so I don't know what a HSC equivalent will be. You better crush your test- expecting 100

Yeah it was good. Got all of Q6 out but it was a nice question (with upper and lower bounds + induction etc. to get to a result). Couldn't do one of the earlier questions though, made one mistake on complex and fudged one answer so we'll see. Overall though, the test was hard- I reckon average...

Mate- you never want to stop. Getting close to Keppry is like becoming a genius by osmosis.

Trial HSC - stressed or not?

You seriously don't get this guy. He can say phrases like "If you even dream of beating me you'd better wake up and apologize." - Mohammed Ali and mean every word of it. Rumour around Tech is that he studied for 5 minutes before his 4U test. You can imagine what his result was.

Trial HSC - stressed or not?

Mate. This guy will destroy all of us. There's no point me even trying at school- its impossible to rank :(

Expected length of HSC economics extended response?

Honestly, if you have the time, go for it. Today in my eco test, I spent an hour on each essay (probs around 1500 words each) and I don't think I was waffling- there's a lot to say about a lot of the issues (and yes, I had multiple clear diagrams, and stats and everything). In the HSC, I'm...

    help with this question :/

Is this naming isomers? You look at the electronegativity in order to determine which carbon is numbered 1 (assuming that counting from both ends gives the same number when you add up the 'other stuff's position). You always write in alphabetical order

Trial HSC - stressed or not?

True that. I haven't even looked at maths for the past week. After eco tomorrow- some intense 4U cramming lol

Trial HSC - stressed or not?

Yeah I noticed that poop break haha- he was sitting in front of me. How'd you go? I was pretty happy with both the papers tbh.
  19. deswa1

    how hard?

Advanced isn't that difficult- its probably only a tiny bit harder than standard but the aligning will save your HSC. Don't do Standard. Please.

CSSA Paper 2 - English Advanced

Ooh, interesting question. Our school question was quite different: In your critical study of Hamlet, you would have formed (looked at, idk) an interpretation about the plays content, construction and language. What influenced your interpretation of Hamlet?
