    University Open Days

Personally I want to do Comm/Law so anything related to that but tbh, I'd be more interested in a tour of the actual place. Like the difference in teaching between either UNSW or USyd wouldn't be much and doesn't bother me, I want to know say why USyd is better than UNSW. Like why is it more fun...

So what are you guys playing at the moment?

OMG brings back SO many memories. When we had our school laptops, we put this on and no joke, we would play every second lesson for the whole year. I became so good by the end of it- think I got every achievement. This was so good. Enjoy it.

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official Football Thread Oh I hate those 2 am ones personally. They're too late to be able to stay up for personally and they're too early that you can't just stay up when its done. My favourites are the 9 p.m ones and the morning (like 5 am Champions League ones). The 7 am ones suck...

    Circle Geometry

    1. Generally the easiest way is to prove that angle ABC is 180 degrees (angle sum of straight line). You do this by initially assuming they are not collinear, and finding angles ACX (for X somewhere else, depends on the question) and BCX and then summing. 2. Cyclic quad has a number of ways...

Where do you collect your data/economic commentary from?

Re: Where do you collect your data from? Nah, he's a finance manager so he's not really directly involved in that stuff but he gets them anyway which is useful. Yeah this. Often the economist doesn't have those one line stats or whatever that you can throw into an essay (especially since it...

Where do you collect your data/economic commentary from?

Re: Where do you collect your data from? Not really tbh. The news websites often have some decent things (like SMH, AFR etc.).The RBA has some good things but I hate the layout of ABS so I never use that. The economist has interesting reads. My dad though sends me these reports that he gets at...

Where do you collect your data/economic commentary from?

Re: Where do you collect your data from? Umm, textbooks, newspapers, the internet. Anywhere pretty much. If I hear something good, I'll remember it.

    Economics Quick Questions Thread

Umm, between 5-15 minutes, it depends. Remember that one mark dropped on MC is a comparatively difficult mark to make up later. Aim for 20 here. Then do short answer before the hour- I overanswer every question though so if you didn't, you could probs do it in less. Then my better essay in an...

    Economics Quick Questions Thread

No because you are increasing your foreign equity at the expense of foreign debt- see the switch between foreign savings (debt) and selling assets (equity)

    Economics Quick Questions Thread

Yeah its D because net foreign liabilities will be unchanged as you are simply moving debt to equity. C could potentially be correct depending on the state of the economy but D will always be correct.
