Yeah why not? Just treat them as two seperate related texts. Though it looks a bit more sophisticated if you do different text types with your core and related because then the marker thinks you are more adaptable etc.

Basically, you'll notice that as x gets closer to 1, y gets closer to infinity. So around the point x=1, you can draw the curve going up towards infinity. Do this for the other values. You can enter your curve into wolfram alpha to see what it looks like which should help.

Draw the asymptotes, take limits as x approaches 1, -1 from both ends + approaching plus/minus infinity to work out what the curve does at these points and connect the dots. Note that the curve passes through y=0 at the point (0,0) even though it is an asymptote

Yeah why not? Tbh, I'm not very stressed. If you know all your stuff and put in your best effort, you shouldn't get too concerned over what others are doing.

Yes- way too long - you need to leave time to adapt to the specific stimulus + its probs better to finish the creative in under 40 so you can spend longer on the essay. So unless you can write 1300 words in about 35 minutes after making slight adjustments mentally, its too long

If your school hasn't said otherwise, I'd probs know them all because they could specify- they haven't done so yet in the HSC but they're moving more towards those sorts of things because some schools just teach 2 poems not them all.

I'm not doing the UMAT but I love these sorts of questions so I might be able to help- how long should it take to do all three parts? I did them all in about 3-4 mins- is that fast enough?

What is your school rank and your rank in these trials? The tests might have been easy or hard so the actual mark doesn't matter that much.

Yes you can get a good ATAR but no I very highly doubt you'll get 99 with those ranks in a school ranked in the 40's - hopefully you can prove us wrong though. Good luck :)
