piccolo seems to be a really keen student who wanted to do really well. I think you have to make a honest choice - is it you who wants to do year 12 again or your parents. Because if its not your desire - it wont be a good year and will probably be a waste.

ANU does well it those Time University Rankings - from memory it was the best in Australia. I'm not saying that the rankings should be a reason to choose ANU. Choose a Uni that has a course suited for you - not the other way around. Regards EvilO

Hakz summed it up well I had a friend who repeated year 12 and now hes sooo bored. - I reckon he will probably get a worse mark that if he had just got it over and done with. there are alternative pathways - speak with your teachers/career advisors about this.

its been awesome and its away from home. I have friends back in sydney who have found it really depressing living at home and going to uni everyday. Here i have my own independence and responcibility - but im close enough to home that if something goes wrong i can take a bus. Definatly a good...

PM sent for anyone else with questions about ANU colleges, send me a PM. I can answer Ursula, Johns and UniLodge questions the best. But i have friends/been on tours of the others and have a pretty good idea about all the colleges overall.
