same - its caused by squeezing the pen too tightly. I found using a soft grip works best - or even just a bit of blutack - but dont get distracted by the blutack!

Re: study notes =D yup the ones with the weired tips. I got it when i was young but hated it, then suddenly i picked it up (in year 11), used it and loved it. Actually my fountain pen went to every single HSC and trial HSC exam. :) i always carry a spare pen (or 3 during hsc :P ) just in case.

its an easy test, not worth cheating. Plus if they want a box boy, they dont want him to have an IQ of 190. Just take the test without cheating, from memory its timed anyway.
