    a new Webct?

Currently being used for a few computing courses AFAIK. I used it last semester for computing, and from what I remember my lecturer said something about a beta version of the new webct or something. It's nothing special really, and it's slower and more annoying than the other webct. Good points...

    Doing maths in summer...

Nah I think I'll have a lot of motivation to do well. My thoughts are, holidays = boring, which means I'll be more inclined to study. I've done a bridging course during the holidays once and I was really motivated to do well in that, so it shouldn't be too much different here. The only thing...

HELP PLS!!! I Few Questions on RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!

Bad luck on your exam, but I say this in the nicest way possible and don't mean to offend you, but - the results were released 5 days before the test. That left you plenty of time to contact whoever to ask about anything, and study for the remaining 3-4 days. The supplementary info and dates...

HELP PLS!!! I Few Questions on RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!

woah... just as I expected. The test had exactly the same type of questions as the final, but easier! I'm hating myself right now for not learning this stuff earlier and instead of just getting a PS, would have gotten a D or a HD.

    Doing maths in summer...

I'm not too bad at maths, but with a whole semester just focusing on maths, it's unlikely that I'll fail.

    Doing maths in summer...

How much less are we talking about here? If it's significantly less (i.e. ~half the time cut off), then I'll rethink my decision, but if it's only say squeezing 14 weeks into 10 weeks, then yeah I'm up for it. It's the only subject I'll be doing over summer anyway.

    Doing maths in summer...

Hey all, Not sure if this has been asked before but I'm just curious as to if this would work. I'm looking to lighten the load of my next semester's timetable by shifting 'MATH1231 Mathematics 1B' to the summer session, which takes 6 hours out of my 20 hour timetable, and subsequently...

HELP PLS!!! I Few Questions on RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!

Just do the statics Supp. They shouldn't change it to much from the final exam which was based primarily on all of the other 'choose 5 out of 7 questions' tests available on the library website, i.e. June 2000, June 2004. As you can see, they both have the exact same type of questions, as did...

HELP PLS!!! I Few Questions on RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!

it's surprising that someone that's probably never failed a subject in their entire life know so much about failing or other weirdo circumstances.

HELP PLS!!! I Few Questions on RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!

Is it realistic to think that the supplementary exam results will be out before the semester commences since the results of the exam will determine whether I do dynamics or not?

    Supplementary Examinations

Just an update for those concerned: 40 IS included when they say a mark between 40 and 49. You don't need to give anyone any prior notice to sit the supplementary exam if you got a mark between 40 and 49. You just have to turn up - they'll be expecting you. I guess it's time to get cracking...
