    Question on changing courses.

It is possible for you to transfer after one semester but you will need to check with UNSW directly and better you ask now. I am assuming you do have a high UAI so if you choose Business at UTS and you don't quite like it and want to go to Commerce, you need to do well if not very well and your...

    is this stupid?

You put whichever course you want to do the most first - each course in each order is given equal competitiveness.

uai below 90. possible to transfer?

According to my UAC Guide, you were applying for B. Pharmacy at USYD right? The UAI is actually quite high and you should do another similar course. Do you have to do Medical Science or is that what you want to do? If you haven't read already, you will need at least a Distinction average or...

    business or architecture $$?

...It's the oldest university of Australia. The facade makes it look grandeur and well established like Cambridge or York in England. USYD, UNSW and UTS offer Architecture and they don't necessarily teach the same programme. One maybe more theory, the other an industry approach. You have to get...

    uni preferences

Do what you feel you want to do most and for the next number of years. Don't just look at it in terms of what you have achieved and mark a tick or cross next to a course. If your interests are in Law and you see a career from it then choose it first. You just have to ask whether the environment...

    HECS-Help and Fee Help

Just to clear everything up, you can choose not to pay anything and ask the Government to pay the whole amount. You then pay an extra 20% of the annual fee.

    CSP and DFEE

You can apply for DFE in your first year and then choose CSP for your second year. If you choose or feel fine paying the full fee than there will be an extra 20% of debt you will incur. If the annual cost of your course is $15,000, you will have to pay an extra $3000 on top of $15,000. So in...

    HECS-Help and Fee Help

I've been reading the GoingToUni website from the Government and I noticed something. It has never occurred to me to apply for Domestic Fee Paying but isn't this the same as CSP anyway? The Government pays for all your fees but you pay a student contribution. DFE, you pay everything but you can...

    what are the chances?

Most if not all NRSL will receive an offer letter in the main round like all HSC students. But obviously, NRSL will have had their application looked differently and of course, each course you choose asks for different requirements. Like most courses of 50% UAI and 50% GPA, a number of others...

    Referees?

I was in the same position as you but make sure you get in contact with the person because it's nice to do so and you can let them know what job you are applying for so they know at least half the story when your future manager rings him/her.
