By reception in different contexts it just means how different contexts have effected the way it is interpeted. For example, i do king lear, and about 70 years or so after it was written, people didn't like seeing the ending which had everybody dieing. So some dude re-wrote a 'happy ending'...

Yopu are allowed to say 'I' now. It changed just a few years ago apparently (from all my english teachers telling me). You won't get penalised for it. And my teachers also said that you won't actually get penalised for using a guide either. You may not get the top marks, but they should give...

Even if they do think that two essays are the same, i think it would be too hard to do anyhting because the people could just always say that they studied together or something.. But its better to stay on the safe side.

How does everyone write their ancient notes? I just don't know how much to put down, and i just end up copy out huge parts of the notes i have..

You could definately do it.. So long as you had a decent understanding of it prior. But don't do STANSW tests, they are awful.

But for the essay question in english and the histories, why you have to write a sustained logical answer, there are no lines, you just have to pad don't you? And if there are lines for you in an essay question, they would definately read anything extra you do on extra paper.
