    ACCG101 All I remember is the Statement of Cash Flows question. To get it to balance you have to fiddle with some tax or depreciation or something. My advice is, if you can't get it to balance almost immediately then don't worry... Many people in our year didn't get it to balance...

    although its not one of the recommended programs, you can also do an accg/acst combined... that takes about 4 years if you cram most of the accg subjects in summer school... i know a guy who did it.. he got his accg degree already and is doing 243 and 271 this year... so he's still got 1 year...

    Yea aditya is right.... law combined lets you get higher positions in a firm... maybe CEO (though most CEOs come from CFOs who are pretty much all accoutnants) The problem could also be lack of demnd for actuaries because a firm only needs a handful of actuaries and thats it.... asia...

    double degree or single degree?

    If you do a double degree, it might be best to do something that is unusual or not the common path taken. It makes you stand out more. I do applied fin/acst combined... along with over half the other people in my course... that pretty much makes me a nobody really....

    Well I'd say you're just as capable. Most the guys with low 99+ UAIs have lost GPA of 4.0... Only the guys with 99.5+ UAI still have GPA 4.0 I have a feeling that at least one of them will lose it this semester though....

    lol.. being a member of something won't get you any brownie points with employers or won't let you see how events are organised and run... you gots ta be an Active Member... Extra cirricular activities is good to do especially if your grades aren't super....
