no no... i want to maintain a perfect gpa... you want to maintain a high one as well. I'm happy with D's as well.

but the thing with acst is most people are hard working... they know they have to work... but even so some ppl aren't smart enough to get the good marks. thats all.

i could have bs'ed some crap... but didn't... stupid of me in the end... basically most i can hope for is a CR...

well stat was bad for me... worst exam ever... saw q1... 16 marks forfetied... i could have bs'ed some things got 1 or 2 tid bit marks... but didn't... left a nice white blank page >< grr.... hardest exam i've done since uni i think.... although tomorrows exam mauy be evn worse.

hate to rain on the actuarial parade... but most of us get paid jack crap for work. first year out is 40-50k... first year out invesment bankers can earn twice as much if you get in a decent firm like mac bank. looks like bigredboof has got it all set =p

yea and its heaps hard to get. Only super super super smat ppl get it. the exam was something like 6 hrs for your part 3 i think...

nah.. haven't studied enough for 243... its so friggin hard... some q's you look you just go blank - you got no idea how to approach it.

To flyin': Did you by chance get a copy of the 1999 2000 papers (and solutions) for 243 when they were up on webCT? They've seem to change the papers they given us so I don't have answer to those 2 papers. If you got the solution can you put the file up on here or send them to me please? Thanks.

yea they are pretty lenient. they fire you if you screw up. so don't screw up ^^

yea its a handy skill to have since a lot of actuarial work is modelling and simulating.
