Called today and she claimed she "put it on" but it "didn't go through". At least I'll have an amazing pay this coming week.

Well I went into longlife for the day. Apparently it was all my fault and the other supervisor who rocked up now hates me. We were both getting supervision though to make it fair. She ended up supervising despite me being much better than her, she would have been hopeless in longlife.

Argh. Another supervisor was given Sunday supervision by the SM but nobody told the service manager, so I was rostered for it. We both rocked up to work, so they had to pay us both supervision. The only problem is... I wasn't paid supervision rates. I got the manager at the time to sign my...

Just need to word it differently. We have a sign on all SCO's that says "NO SALE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS AT SELF SERVE REGISTERS".

Yep I agree about the smokeshop registers and fruit and veg, valid reason to refuse. Well Vic is still fairly relaxed with their tobacco regulations, heck, even minors can still serve smokes. As of Jan 1, 2011 though, all smokes had to be covered up (that's standard practice around the country...

Are you open Sunday? If so, shouldn't mag's be done then? It's the same as any other day pretty much, although we have to do final pick ups on our Sunday (your saturday?) In Vic, our teamtalks state we can serve smokes from any register but our store is under the impression that we can't, so...

Completely agree with all of those, especially number two. I've submitted this idea before but they rejected it. Get your fucking shit together, this is important. Can't wait until SCO10 is pushed out, can't be that long now!

Minus maybe 50c for probation period. They're the pay grades for all mainstream positions, they don't vary based on role (unless otherwise made known to you) Yes, I refuse service if they are completely rude and/or swear at me. Might be hard on a register but it works when in the service desk.

This is just going by the VIC rates, so it may SLIGHTLY vary. Remember, part time = sick leave, annual leave, second discount card, permanent shifts, etc. Casuals get none of that but an extra 20% loading in return. 17 - Part Time = $10.68/ph 17 - Casual = $12.79/ph 18 - Part Time = $13.08/ph...

What the hell? $17? What are you smoking mate? More like $10.70 PPT and $12.xx for casual. Homeshop involves using a special device called an RF gun, you scan items off the shelf with this as you attend to the customers order. Can't give you much more information sorry.

I would love to know when Project Evolution is going ahead at our store. We've had the new RF antennae installed throughout the store, but NO new phones, handsets or anything. I can't confirm if our internet connection has been upgraded because some days it's as slow as dog shit and some days it...

Oh my god YES. We had one guy in doing those ShamWOW cleaning cloth things. He was an annoying bastard who was so aggressive all the time. He flipped it at our SSM because she had to interrupt him half way through, he cracked the shits majorly and went home lol. He did not know she was the big...

Can confirm our store has also been ordered to drastically cut hours. New SM is now making it so there is only one supervisor on at any time (no backups) to reduce costs and have younger people working. Absolutely fucking ridiculous. How are we expected to take breaks if there is NOONE to take...

Doesn't matter about having no work experience, I had none when I was 15 and they employed me (young & cheap etc). Just give them your resume and hope for the best.

Nah but I mean triggering in the payroll software (paymas?) as opposed to People Planner when my CSM was doing rosters. I'm actually surprised she didn't pick up on it, 2230 to 0800 isn't that hard to notice in terms of spotting the 10hr gap :P

Ah right. My pay clerk would be the only relevant person to tell and she is on holidays until Monday morning. Would it automatically trigger when she is doing payroll? I could probably put "O/T" on the adjustment I guess.

Yeah, both shifts were rostered on like that. OT would only be for the 30 minutes though right, not the whole shift?
