Not sure, I guess we will see. Doesn't really bother me, it's only thirty minutes. I could just move my shift forward thirty minutes but that is going to fuck things up that I have planned.

It's C. The company always wants you to approach and "ask if you can be of any assistance to them" which NEVER happens in reality, you watch them like a hawk and call reinforcements heh. Personally (and from experience), I think going up to them is just asking for trouble because they can...

Ah fantastic, thanks. For some reason I do not have faith in the whole "we will identify those who were paid grade 2 rates" system, but I guess we shall see how it goes. Yeah we're in Region 3. I can't seem to find her name/number in the area mangaers spreadsheet, could you PM me her phone...

Also, has anybody with the SDA received the Jan 2 updated wage bulletin in the mail? If so, could you please scan it for me?

Oh good, my office peeps will be happy when I tell them this! My stores pay clert is also under the impression that office people only get grade 2, she has told this to her office staff. What is the best way to get this sorted for the office workers? Send Woolworths an email? Contact the union...

Ahh bummer, you're probably WAY too expensive for them, that's why haha. Ohh yes, about that... I know you were having issues with wages in the Office. What happened in the end, do office cashiers get grade 4 or regular grade 2? Every office cashier at my store gets no extra money, paid at grade...

Haha yes, remember the whole discussion about juniors getting full adult grade 4 rates after July 1, 2011? So I should have been on $52/hr instead of $26 which is why I am a bit pissy at the moment :P, missed out on $250 this week.

Nah, all my hours are correct. I did 12hours/2 shifts at normal wage, and worked three public holidays, those 3 public holiday shifts totaled 22.75 hours as seen here: So quite simply they have just neglected to pay my supervision rate.

New Years Day 11:45 - 22:00 s/vision. Nah it was all fine because I got paid normal operator penalty rates (s/vision doubles my rate as you know), and remember signing off and on. This happens all the time with other supervisors too, I just can't understand, especially when it's rostered AND...

They didn't bloody pay me grade 4 supervision, missed out on $250 this week. Have to wait until next week now. Can somebody with experience in payroll explain to me how it is physically possible for them to not pay it when it was ROSTERED supervision and even put on the adjustment?

Who is with Commonwealth Bank and gets paid Tuesday night? I have a CBA account and Westpac account, the only reason I kept the Westpac account is because I liked getting paid early. If CBA people get paid Tuesday night too, there is no real need for me to have my Westpac account open.

Depends what state you're in, we get penalty rates for today.

I've been on contract for two years and never received anything for working public holidays? I thought you were entitled to a day off if you wish, but you can also work and get the penalty rates?

She could be right actually, it's been like that in the past for these two holidays I believe. It's most likely because it's an additional day off for New Years day, all the full timers seem to be working that day, so perhaps they're just going about it normally.

Do we get penalty rates for New Years Eve or just New Years day?
