    MY Future Needs Help!

In my opinion, you don't necessarily need to know what you want to make out of your life. If you have a general idea, then work around your interests. An opportunity will arise at some point. Just stop stressing and enjoy life :)

I ended up parking on High Street, and had to walk like 3725802572 km to get to the roundhouse where all the lecturers were talking about their subjects etc in the POURING RAIN. I got a herald and some jellybeans though :]

Do you think its possible to get 90+ UAI doing creative subjects?

I am a Year 11 student planning on doing... Drama Visual Art Music 2 Advanced English Extension 1 & 2 The majority of these are completely subjectively marked (nil Advanced and Ext. 1). I was having an argument with a friend today over whether you could get a 90+ UAI doing purely creative...

Any Books or Info you guys can recommend?

The general theme for my body of work is the search of identity through the ideas of resistance to conformity and the process of finding your identity (what is it, is it possible..?) I was just wondering if anybody could recommend anything that even loosely encompasses my idea of identity...

Is Doing Both Modern and Ancient too Much?

I would also say it depends alot on your teachers as well. Do you LIKE your ancient/modern teachers? If you're going to have some archaic, old-fashioned, lifeless twit for either subject (in my own opinion especially ANCIENT) then i wouldn't do it.

Is 4 major works too much?!

The problem with that is there is literally nothing else offered by my school that i would be happy/interested in doing. My dean wants me to do Ancient History, but im hating the subject at the moment.. My defence is that, surely i could be using the time that i would be in the extra 2-unit...

I think i'll be able to manage my time effectively. Well, i hope anyway. If im doing thing in my subjects which i will be motivated to work on then i think it should be fine.

    Holidays before year 12?

I'm going to try and relax as much as is possible. But i will probably try and organise myself a bit for year 12, in terms of trying to plan some of my major works..having so many and all.

Is 4 major works too much?!

Next year, i am planning on doing 10 units which are: Drama, Music 2, Visual Art, Advanced English, EE1 & EE2. Effectively i will have 4-ish major works (as drama and music are pretty much the equivalent with logbooks and evaluations as well as the end result) and i'm starting to think if...

    Singers!!! Performance!!!

Where are all the guys? I'm a bass, and have been singing since i was 9 or 10. Grew up mostly around contemporary choral music, toured when i was younger with varying national children's choirs etc. I sing soul, gutsy blues and i like a bit of smooth jazz but nothing too perky. Thinking of...

    crying on stage

Definitley what someone outlined before about Stanislavski. I recently did a performance from an Australian play, the name i forget, but basically the protagonist mum just died. All i had to think about was if i was in the same situation, how I would be feeling. And it made me cry...

    Extension 2 English Thoughts: Poetry.

I am quite sure i would like to do English Extension 2 next year, and be focussing on Poetry. I'm a real arts nut, and i'm just wondering whether or not anyone had any difficulties with the creative limitations of the course? In my mind, the BOS is almost a professional at suppressing creative...
