    Hello, question for HSCers

yea people tend to do better in senior years but perhaps we have different interpretations of just how much better "getting better" is :)

    how does these subjects scale?

well, internal ranks AND your school rank can give a fairly good indication of your rank. but OP didnt give school rank, so yea, all UAI estimates in this thread are pretty much based on nothing, lol

    Hello, question for HSCers

you can change. I knew a guy that was doing pretty badly, but in year 11 and 12 he went super hard core and ended up getting above a very high UAI, 98+. so yea its possible, but i'd say this is a rare case

Oh My ****ing GOD. I = Worlds Biggest Idiot

ah, good point, didnt notice this myself. well then i'd say go for the D. you're gonna need all the help you can get until you kick your habit of last minute rush jobs, cause its gonna fail before the year ends (already has) so hopefully you learn something before it really, really hurts your hsc

At the end of 'Hound', who kills whom?

do a google, there should be something. i went to one in some theatre, then later on I went and saw king lear at newtown, and they were also showing a hound production. there should be something about. I saw it early on in the year though so the season may have passed already...

Oh My ****ing GOD. I = Worlds Biggest Idiot

seriously, i'd say drop the subject. unless you are acing advanced and extension english, 1st in school and find it a bore, then I dont think you will be able to use your method of waiting till last minute to actually complete a major work. it just requires too much research and too much...

    Crime Writing: Further Readings

you can add extremely common and overdone to that list too. so many people use doyle or poe's works then best do them well, cause you dont want to be seen as just another kid who picked a common text. you want to make sure that you are the kid that took a common text and wrote a top essay on it

    evaluate ?

well evaluate means give a value to. so what you want to do is give a value to each of the impacts of u/e. so having less money would be a big impact of u/e, as would homelessness. while not being able to buy that new TV is a small impact of u/e. you are judging how significant each...

At the end of 'Hound', who kills whom?

lol. you should be able to go and so some sort of production somewhere. there are usually plays put on around the place that correspond to hsc texts. its much better in performance, much easier to recall too

At the end of 'Hound', who kills whom?

nah, stoppard is cool. this is about the only english text ive ever enjoyed. there's only ever been one other, and that was only mildly ok did u just read the play? cause it is much better in performance.

At the end of 'Hound', who kills whom?

nah, never got that sheet that would make sense. puckeridge wants to be the head critic. magnus doenst want to lose cynthia (or was it the other girl? I could never remember) but that still seems to be a bit weird as inspector hound and magnus dont really want to kill anyone. I would...

    how does these subjects scale?

you must however realise that your sources cannot be taken as fact. dp didnt do any extension english subjects and sam is only a guestimate at best. your statement "Not all extensions scale well. English Extension 1 & 2 have worse scaling than Advanced English" which is written like its a...

At the end of 'Hound', who kills whom?

puckeridge is the only real killer. but perhaps you can say that magnus killed birdboot (as at this point you didnt know any of magnus' other identities) puckeridge killed moon id say although that is a pretty wierd sheet to fill out
