I was told nobody has ever heard of a service 80. The sheet says "Service 80 - the bins are unlocked and staff need to clear waste now". Not sure :P

I'm in vic, and this is the sheet i'm looking at. BTW, i was told that 100 was used for other reasons (such as lady fallen over), as opposed to JUST security calls. I was told on training. Service 10 - Supervisor Service 20 - Customer assistance Service 30 - Telephone call, line xxx Service 40...

Service 100 could be anything really. There is no "this & that". We may even call service 100 to get the manager down for a lady who had fallen over.

What are your views on self serve attendants? I will probably be asked to do training to become a self serve attendant soon.

My scan rate would definetly be higher for basket loads. I feel like I push them through SO much quicker then trolly's. I feel like I can the whole basket in a minute compared to the whole trolly in 3.5/4 minutes (roughly). Cheers

Scan rates stop in tender mode, right? If I need to wait for a customer whilst fiddling with stuff, I just chuck it in tender mode untill they get back then hit C to go back into sale mode. Or sometimes I save the transaction if they need to run off and get something

What exactly is the counselling may I ask?

Do we just talk to the department manager about finding our scan rates? Also, will they come to us if it needs to be higher? Chers
