To my knowledge the BOS doesn't handle teaching issues, except for non-government school inspections. You have to take this to the principal. After that, if it's a government school, then the DET, or if it's private then your school board or equivalent.

At ANU we don't have conceded passes, instead if you get between 45-49 you have to do a second exam to get a supplementary pass. I'm not sure how much better that is, but certainly automatic conceded passes seem a bit too easy.

I'm pretty sure there's no direct conversion between UK qualifications and the ATAR etc. Usually each uni publishes something like http://info.anu.edu.au/studyat/assets/International_Office/pdf/intadmissions10.pdf on their international students page which lists the scores you need.

Then it won't count towards your HSC units. I'm not entirely sure whether or not that shows on your record, but I believe it just takes the course off the list entirely. If that would put you under the 10-unit requirement then you would be ineligible for the HSC, but I doubt that's your case...

You look at the papers they've given you and check the thing at the bottom which says 'Student Number'? And if there's a problem you speak with the relevant coordinator at TAFE, and let them contact the BOS and sort it out for you.
