    Scholarship or stay at home?

I know a history student at ANU who did his undergrad at UNE and moved to ANU for his masters or PhD or whatever he's doing now. UNE's a reasonably respectable place, if you do well there you'll have no problems going where you want for postgrad studies. Also, moving out may seem daunting, but...

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

Yes, they cover postage (ostensibly one of the reasons for charging fees). Because some of us are: a) curious (this is the main one) b) concerned about the system and want to keep BOS accountable c) want to be able to explain the system to the next year of HSC students

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

Basically. They generally try to send the decision letter with the actual documents, so you'll probably be able to tell whether it's been approved or denied on the basis of the size of the correspondence when it arrives next month - denied will be just a letter, approved will be a parcel of...

Macqurie University or Australian national University? which one??

ANU seems to have a fairly good rep for Econ, maybe not so much for Commerce. I don't study in either of those areas so I can't tell you more than that. If you're in Sydney, ANU would mean moving out of home. This has its advantages and disadvantages: the main advantages being that you get more...

What do you need to bring to uni?

Depends on your day, and your subjects. For me, laptop (always), exercise books (for tutorials, as well as maths courses where taking notes on a computer isn't feasible), textbooks (for tutorials that need them)... and, uh, a pen, my phone and my wallet. :p

Difference between Bachelor of Medical Science and Pharmacy?

Most people doing Med Sci are intending to do graduate Medicine. To become a registered pharmacist you have to have a Pharmacy degree, not a Med Sci degree.

what are good universities for a commerce degree??

UNSW definitely has a reputation for commerce. ANU seems to be better known for Economics and Macquarie for Actuarial Studies.

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

Definitely add it. They'll be able to identify you from other information, but you want to make it as easy and efficient as possible.

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

Yep, that guide! It might need a bit of updating now that we know there's another release process, but it's mostly still accurate. Thanks for saving it!

Questions regarding with EAS (Educational Access Scheme)

At UNSW they have ACCESS: http://www.unsw.edu.au/futureStudents/undergrad/sad/accessscheme.html It seems that they use the same information provided on the EAS form, just they assess it with different criteria or something. You'll have to enquire with them as to whether your type of...

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

My guide is in with all the old content that's unavailable - I have another copy of it somewhere on one of my computers which I can't find... :( ^ This. If they do, be awesome, and write them a nasty letter threatening to write to the Information Commissioner/Ombudsman/MP/legal action... :haha:

    UAC Offers

Ring the uni and ask. It's definitely possible to get two offers in different rounds (I did it with the Main and Early Feb rounds) but there could be special rules on the early offer.

    Advanced vs. Standard.

Definitely take Advanced. I took Standard and now I regret the decision; I could have done so much better in the other class.

    Prestige or the course?

Thread has been cleaned up - stay civil, people.

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

Okay, so it just said that the application is valid, rather than saying yes or no to your request. Still, good to know it's being processed. :D

    HSC 2010 School Rankings

Yeah, my year didn't exactly have two all-rounders... :( *tries to figure out who you are*

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

Awesome! :D I hope the old threads are restored soon; I'll prepare the Technical Arcana forum for the flood of 2010 raw marks... edit: when you say "declared valid", what exactly do you mean? Does it say something more than a typical acknowledgement letter would?

    Scholarships?

It depends on the exact terms of the scholarships. I believe that most scholarships don't allow deferral, instead you have to reapply at the end of 2011 for a 2012 scholarship. (Totally unbiased advice: ANU > USyd)

Can i apply for two different degrees with the same UAC course code?

UAC treats them as if they're one course, presumably because the admission requirements are the same. Given that you can pick which one you want at enrolment time, why would you want to preference that code twice?

How do i apply for a specific course through UAC if the course code is the same as...

Re: How do i apply for a specific course through UAC if the course code is the same a If they're all the same course code, it means that UAC processes them all the same, and you pick your exact course when you accept your offer.
