How do main round offers/preferences work?

According to http://future.ask.sydney.edu.au/app/answers/detail/a_id/545/~/how-do-i-change-my-uac-preferences-after-the-main-offer-round-%28undergraduate - you must notify them in writing of your withdrawal.

    Prestige or the course?

For local students with Commonwealth support, the government sets a limit, so unis don't really have a say in increasing fees.

How do bonus points work when being considered preferences in uni ??

Yep, they add your additional points to your ATAR and use that as your selection rank. It's an automatic process since they've seen your EAS application and they know your HSC results.

How do main round offers/preferences work?

Offers are received through UAC, and generally you accept your offer immediately either through the UAC site or through the university's site. UAC will send an offer letter shortly afterwards, and depending on your institution they may include documentation with that letter, or it may be sent...

How do main round offers/preferences work?

Enrolment dates and procedures vary by institution, but generally there's special provision for first-year students. For example, at ANU, continuing students enrol in December-January, whilst new first-years generally enrol in-person in early February or during O-week. Generally speaking...

How do main round offers/preferences work?

No. You only receive one offer. Each preference is considered in sequence until you get an offer for one of them, then the remaining preferences are not considered. See above.

    Prestige or the course?

And indeed, it's not standardised: at ANU, you take courses to receive units. :/ Don't worry, you'll figure it all out pretty quickly once you start working out your enrolment next year.

    Prestige or the course?

Hmm, people actually say that? *bad memories of MATH1116*

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

Generally if it's not a standardised or automatically generated letter it's signed with a pen - I've even gotten signed letters from Centrelink before. I really dislike the obviously pixellated ones though.

If you're the sort of person who gets early offers for uni, you won't find yourself unemployed with a BE...

Which is why you find a law student to do it for you, like Hugh Parsonage/Captain pi did with Lazarus all those years ago. :P

Combined B engineering B medical science?

If you're thinking about running your own business, maybe - if not, then BE/BMedSc is probably a better choice.

Don't worry, with the amount that an average teacher knows about how the universities admissions system works, I doubt they'd have noticed. :P

    Raw Marks Application Form (Pro-forma)

Definitely the OIC first - it's a less formal, non-binding review, but when dealing with the bureaucracy it always helps to do that first. If you go to the ADT, you'll need to do your own legal research and be prepared to present your case before the tribunal if you don't have an advocate.

Combined B engineering B medical science?

Degrees don't directly lead to careers, double degrees even less so. But you'd be qualified as an engineer, so you could work in whatever engineering field you're qualified in, and you'd also have a BMedSc, opening up work in medical labs and that sort of thing. I guess combining the two, you...

    Extension 2 Math.

I usually got 40-50% raw in exams and still ended up with 78, which then gets scaled up. But ATAR considerations aside, are you actually interested in maths?

Your ATAR is a point higher than mine, and I don't care at all, because I wanted an actual education, and thus don't consider 4U a waste of time. Now back on topic, please.
