    Single sex schools vs coed

co-ed, definitely. i think there are a lot of benefits to being able to socialise with both sexes. at uni, the workplace etc you need to be able to integrate anyway, why not do it sooner than later. not to mention the girls from the local single-sex school are freakishly obsessed with guys...

    What are you currently Reading?

just finished anthony and cleopatra. i liked it, aside from the portrayal of caesar. it seems like he didn't want cleopatra to be harmed, while in reality he killed her children after she died... now: an article from those 'life' magazines you get in the paper, saying that generation Y is shit...

Did you enjoy Emma by Jane Austen?

i couldn't finish it. it's clever and ironic, and i appreciate it as a piece of literature, but i'm not a fan of massive amounts of useless detail with only a couple of vaguely intiguing incidents spread throughout.

Polygamous marriages should be recognised: sheikh

i can't believe no one has posted reasons for why it shouldn't be legalised.. scientific reason - reduced genetic diversity. probably more relevant when it comes to crops and stuff, but i'm sure someone intelligent could think of some ramifications of this possible problems with adults...
