    Know all Textbook = 90+?

Also I guess I should add that reading, understanding and remembering everything in all your textbooks is very very hard...

    Know all Textbook = 90+?

If you understand everything in the textbook thoroughly, 90+ should be trivial. Of course you still need to have developed general essay writing and problem solving skills.

    2010 Semester 1 Chatter Thread

This thread is for general/miscellaneous/OT discussion, short questions and the like. Yes, this forum needs more activity, else I'll have to stop using BoS to procrastinate and go back to actually studying for MATH1115. :p Please be sensible, normal forum rules apply.

Don't drop Music... I'd suggest Chem or Maths. Otherwise you seem to be doing quite well.

To anyone who got an ATAR of 99.95 (was it hard?)

I believe the OP's question has been adequately answered...

    Help calculate my ATAR

Definitely 96 or so as a minimum, 98-99 is quite possible.

Why did u choose standard english?

I did Standard because I just hate English. In hindsight I should probably have done Advanced since the class was somewhat better. (And yes, I'm now doing an Arts degree...)

Question on B. Laws (graduate entry) and B. Laws (combined degree)

You do the same number of courses per semester (i.e. 4 for a normal load), just you do more semesters. So it's the same workload just for longer.

Is it true uni is more relaxing than HSC year?

They ask to see your transcripts, so of course they'll see what grades you got. Most graduate programs have a minimum requirement of a credit or distinction average.

Is it true uni is more relaxing than HSC year?

I think I can pretty safely say that if I'd chosen to do regular-level maths rather than honours pathway, my degree at the moment would be easier than year 12.

Is it true uni is more relaxing than HSC year?

It's a fairly common perception, and it can be true if you're in the right degree for it. But then another common perception is that merely getting Ps is okay...

    HSC marks and ranks

No, the assessment marks do count - but the Board moderates them to adjust for differences between schools. Read the forum stickies if you want to know a bit more.

    Thank you :)

    HSC marks and ranks

Your assessment mark will be equal to the highest exam mark achieved by anyone in your school for that exam. Your exam mark will be your own.

    ITT: FML I hate uni.

ANU only has one week of stuvac, much to my annoyance.
