To be honest, I don't really see why you couldn't have six (or even eight with general) units of maths counting towards your UAI, providing that you satisfied every other UAI eligibility rule. I've never seen any official statements made about it. I might investigate.

The band written in that small statement is specific to each student. The Board works backwards from your Extension marks to calculate an approximate Mathematics mark for you. This mark isn't actually used for anything except for determining the band number printed in the above statement...

I might point out that each faculty has their own Honours requirements, and may use the WAM in different ways - so check with the faculty if you want to be sure (try searching the website). Nope. :)

I would urge you to share the results you are entering, soso, and where they have come from. You should not be entering school assessment marks, for example, nor raw examination marks. SAM accepts aligned HSC marks as input. The aligned HSC mark is the average of the aligned examination mark and...

Successfully logging in with your forum username and password should redirect you to a page where you can simply upgrade your forum account to one which is able to access SAM. The login page is refreshed when the login has failed. You shouldn't have to create a new account.

It would be possible to do it for the mathematics papers, which have very 'clear cut' marking guidelines. And it would take some time. But it's possible. :) I can't really see it working for any other courses, unfortunately. They don't tell you. There is a small blue (or sometimes green) form...
