    confusion over mainround offers?

If you get an offer for your first preference in the main round, will you be automatically rejected for all your other 8 preferences? Or do you get offers from all 9 courses you selected (considering your atar satisfies them) and you select the one you like?

B Com UNSW transfer vs. B Com USYD transfer

I posted that exact question a few days ago! with 97.95, your WAM would probably have to be 80+ (so similar to UNSW). I spoke to a friendly guy on BOS a few days ago, he said a friend of his made into USYD comm/law with around 98.3 atar and 80.something WAM. I also spoke to the law...

Uni transfers: Humanities to Law in a different university

it is DEFINITELY not impossible, but its extremely hard and competitive. It would PROBABLY be much easier if you did media/journalism at UNSW (if they offer, pretty sure they offer media) and then applied for internal transfer into law/journalism.

Uni transfers: Humanities to Law in a different university

You could INTERNALLY transfer into UNSW law if you do really well in your arts degree (atleast distinction to be competitive... but i spoke to law information lady (lol) and she said to get around the top band of distinction or H. distinction to almost guarantee yourself a spot). External...

Do you know anyone with HDs in the course you are doing at UWS? because your GPA is incredible! ohh, i thought right.. so the chances of getting in are still pretty slim :/ good luck man. If you do UMAT next year, can you still apply to transfer? or will it be too late for you? (i thought only...

University Preferences (Medicine Goal) HELP Desperate!!

hey dylanamali, so does that mean AFTER you finish your current degree, you will have to sit the GAMSAT and then earn an interview spot if you do well in it? Also, out of the 6 interviewed, how many are taken into UWS med?

In a dilemma - please help

School rankings after around 20/30 + tend to fluctuate a lot. I think (and most others on this forum) it comes down to the student, but for many people to actually work hard/be motivated, they need to be placed in a competitive environment, which a top ranked school entails. I went to a public...

Is year 11 & 12 really that hard?

If you work consistently from year 11 and have average intelligence, you will most likely get 99+.

Oh a 3D model? aren't you guys doing the bovine eye? thats what we did lol (although I don't remember the experiment because I jigged most of my bio classes) There are heaps of resources on the internet. EDIT: what LHS said is definitely correct. It will become quite easy when you...

So how much work have you done in your holidays?

you never burn out for maths (haven't heard of anyone yet) so do that as much as you want. the rest you can lose motivation for quite easily (for me, this was AFTER trials - most crucial time- didn't do anything other than english lol). You have plenty of time in your holis. even if you're...

What to say when people ask what your atar was?

this. Also, as long as you don't lie about your ATAR (hate people who do that) you should say it with a smile :) A few days ago a kid in year 6 (family friend) asked me what atar I got. After I told him he had this expression on his face "lol.. 98.85, what a failure".
