Its a pretty common conversation between us "do you think I'm stupid/yes, yes I do". Goes both ways. Does anyone else have the new check seals yet? Very sexy, IMO.

The team talk also tells us to tell customers that this will help to lower shelf prices. I laughed so hard. I have been omitting this from when I have been delivering it. More money in woolworths's pockets. As always.

Notice I hell couldn't look at either of you while he was speaking to you. He came up to me as I was headed out of cash office around 8ish. SSM: Why is it, that every time I have an issue with MMacka, you're always involved. Me: I highly doubt that SSM: Since when does he take 25 minute tea...

Its only a 7 hour shift, so it is a bit petty, but I'd like a decent lunch break. The way they split my shifts is awful on Saturdays, and its worse if I ever need hour long breaks.

This is going to be annoying. CBA are the worst offenders at telling their MCD customers to only ever press credit. I think its just the pinpad change, whenever there is a new store release of that nature all supervisors in my store have to do a team talk on it/

Allright, here goes. I was trying to follow someone else on this thread's (possibly mannequin, apologies if its not you) lead of not bitching too much, but yeah I can't help myself. Lets start all the way back at yesterday. Yesterday I got a phone call asking me to supervise close tomorrow...

Well this is the absolute bare bones minimum. School holidays its around 82 hours. Long weekends in general give us an extra 8 hours (an extra hour on Saturdays and 7 hours on Sunday). I can't keep up with our trading hours hey.

Our CSM/2IC rotate through Mon-Sat 7-5, or Tues-Fri 8.30-6.30 (except Thurs which is 11.30-9.30). Previously, whoever was 3IC did Monday 9.30-6.30 supervision to allow for two supervisors on a Monday. However, the girl that does Saturday/Sundays in charge is now available on Mondays, so she...

I actually think my 2IC is retarded. She just rang me asking me to do close on Friday (as a supervisor), which I can't do. 2IC: Oh, oh, I really need a supervisor Me: Isn't *our 3IC* working? 2IC: Does she do close on Fridays? Me: Yes 2IC: Hmm, I'll think about it. WHAT IS THE POINT...

yep :p (only coz i'm a teaching case at the UWA dental school coz my teeth were apparantly worthy of being talked about a lot. pretty much all of my orthodontic/dental treatment since i was about 13 has been subsidised because of this).

I think by contract we just meant the actual hours on the persons PT/FT roster. For instance, my actual roster: Thurs: 5.30-9.30 Sat: 12-7. But this week is going to be the first week ever that thats all I've worked.

I do "have uni on monday mornings". Till 11am ;) Except my CSM is usually pretty good with putting me on Wednesdays, so I can't do Mondays, so I don't have to pull that excuse out of the bag very often. I have no issue with doing 6am starts for tickets, but 5am is a WHOLE lot different...

lol, nice work. How long does it take to accrue four hours of sick leave? If my legs are still cramping on Thursday I'm totally calling in sick while I get them amputated :mad1:

Its extremely commonplace in my department. Everyone who recently got made part time has a 10 hour per week roster (I got mine upped from 10 to, wait for it 10.5 - aren't I amazing). They reckon that there aren't extra hours, but I know there are. For instance, someone HAS to be in smokeshop...

I'm a bit the same, I figure I don't desperately need the money so as long as I get the time off I'm good. But on the other hand if the hours are there to be used, then I'm going to use them. Its only taken 8 weeks to be able to have enough hours to get one week off right :p For me though...
