    Conics v Statistics

Ahh I have no opinion on this as I haven't done conics at school yet, and have absolutely no idea what uni level statistics is like Year 8 statistics wasn't that bad, finding the mean, range and stuff. Kinda too basic, so I don't it would be anything like this

    eg. x^3 + 5x^2 + 11 = 0 Find the polynomial equation whose roots are a^2, b^2, c^2 I know how to do it but I have a few questions about presenting the answer. The answer to this question is x^3 - 25x^2 - 110x - 121 = 0 Would it be marked incorrect if I use a variable different from x? eg. y^3...

How many peeps in Ext 2 at your school

We have forty in our year. I would say half of them are incompetant, and are just doing it because it scales high. That's what bad about my school, they let anyone do 4U Maths but only let 40 do Advance English.

    Writing into Dot Point books?

I would say that's inaccurate. We all get textbooks in each subject except for English, where we just get the novels and texts.

    School Attack 'retribution'

It's pretty effed up how they rock up to a school armed To make things worse, they're only 14-16 years old Also students had their phones confiscated when they were messaging the parents about the incident by the teachers. Why did the teachers want to keep something big like this hush hush...

If there was only one Ext 2 math textbook in the world...

Ah I would have to agree and disagree with YannY on some points Cambridge Pros: Small and lightweight, a variety of quetions, good further questions for revision Cons: Explanation isn't that good, line spacing Coroneos Pros: Small and lightweight, a variety of questions Cons: Font and line...

10 units with 4 unit maths

Ahh right now I'm doing 10 units as well with 4U maths. I know for sure I can handle it. Having another subject means you need to learn more, memorise more and as a result, have less time to study everything else. If you know you can do 4U, then do 10 units only

HSC - All My Own Work

It's stupid and is a waste of time We stayed in at school for an extra two hours to do this and another extra two next week What pisses me off is that we did it last year already =.= Additionally we copy each other's answers for this, making it even more stupid and this is suppose to be all our...

To those who are considering to do this subject

I already completed the HSC for this subject so I can tell you my opinion about it. It's boring like seriously. Even if you're interested in computers, you still have to learn the boring bits to it such as communication, OHS, policies and procedures etc. It is one of the lowest scaling...
