    Do you fear death?

Sorry this is extreme but it shows the point. If someone was pointing a gun at your head, would you not feel fear? Wouldn't your heart be beating furiously?

    Do you fear death?

You really all probably don't fear death now but only because it isn't near. Like you're not afraid of the Taliban because it wouldn't be hear in Australia. But if you knew you were going to die painlessly in one hour. Hell, all of us would be scared, though some more than others, though maybe...

    Can someone clarify this

    They aren't really anything new. They are just expressions with the use of compound angles. I'd say, learn how to derive them, which isn't too hard. eg. sin (A + B) = sin A cos B + cos A sin A (1) sin (A - B) = sin A cos B - cos A sin A (2) (1) + (2) sin (A + B) + sin (A - B) = 2 sin A cos B...

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Sounds like Ockham was a lazy dude, makin sure everything was as simple as possible, without looking outside the box and exploring. Awful website? Your the first one to negatively comment about it actually.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Lol but you seem to actually be online when i just did some posts. I think therefore I am. I am a bot that is.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Thanks, I never actually seen it before and its pretty complicated. Actually the paper says we will know that we are in a simulation or at least 99.99...(nearly recurring)% chance which i would consider as true.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Whats that meant to mean? I know about test but i'm not sure if ur inferrin im a computer bot or something. And r u like always on bos? u replied very quickly after i posted. Scarily fast.:jedi:

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Hey if we weren't in a simulated universe, why are some of the most fundamental equations so simple. If something isn't energy, its mass and e=mc2. And it could be another reason why all the universal constants are just suited for life. There also seems to be constraints to ever applying time...

    Parking System on the Steets

Parking System on the Streets I was just wondering, how does the parking system on the streets work? Like you know how there are signs saying "2P" meaning you are limited park there for 2 hours, right? Would it be okay if one and a half hours after you park the car in one spot, and then move...

    Projectile Motion

I initially thought his approach was wrong because he ended up with a undoable quadratic. So instead, I took another approach and yielded the correction. After looking at his approach the second time, I realised that there was an inconsistency with the units which led to the undoable quadratic...

    Projectile Motion

After putting some more thought to it, yea I had to find the relationship between v and u, and sub it into the displacement equation. Instead, I subbed it into the wrong equation. Thanks, I corrected myself

    Projectile Motion

Now that you pointed it out, yea I can see what's incorrect I was thinking, at a certain time their heights and vertical velocities are equivalant. Wouldn't that be true?

    Projectile Motion

    Mm let me see Edit: I would say you have taken the wrong approach. Instead of using the equation of the path and solving for theta, why don't you consider making use of the range? y = V sin @ t - 1/2 gt2 x = V cos @ When y = 0, V = 200, g = 10 0 = 200 sin @ t - 5 t2 0 = 5t(40 sin @ - t)...

Acceleration is ALWAYS gravity acting towards the ground, when near the surface. Although it varies as altitude varies in real life, we treat the acceleration of gravity as constant What you are thinking of is the velocity. When the arrow is launched from the ground, it is still affected by...
