We are most likely in a simulated universe

The simulation could be paused if there is a glitch. It could even be rewinded, though we wouldn't know.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

    1. I dont know though its highly probable if Q2 is right. 2. This is the only thing standing in they way of the simulation idea. 3. I've answered this many times. 4. Again, it'd prolly be cheap enough eventually. 5. Just no. 6. Becuase people would want to make one. And make many for the same...

We are most likely in a simulated universe

How do you know it would be expensive to run the simulations. Technology could be good enough so its affordable. We may not knowhow ppl existed, but if we inputted the exact conditions for just when the universe began, everything in this universe should pop up the same, so they dont need to know...

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Like what?? I gave you reasons and u even quoted the reasons! You know history, gaming etc.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

If we are real beings put into this simulation, maybe we have to die before we wake up so we can leave without leaving in a big flash of light or something to ruin the experience. We could be bots and this simulation exists for the many reasons i gave above.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Let's assume we can make a simulation. Then there would be heaps of reasons to make many. Then for 1 real universe there are many fake ones so ours is probably fake. Evidence is helpful but not needed in THIS case because if my assumption is true, my thesis is true i.e. that we are VERY LIKELY...

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Firstly I was using theory in a different sense. I know wat it means scientifically. Of course there is no evidence and i do have a clue on the probability! I am assuming we can eventually create conscious computer simulations, but the probability comes not in that but in when we do create them...

Schapelle Corby: Innocent or Guilty- Your final verdict

As if the media believe it. They don't care, as long as somethign makes a good story to get good ratings to get good money. They're worse than corby.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Yes that's another theory that is very related to this because it uses similar ideas and arguements to back it up.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

I don't see why admin would have to change us because we start questioning it. Maybe its a computer program of their past, and their just tryin to find out wat happened cause they lost historical records etc. For the last time for everyone in this thread, I know theres no hard evidence to back...

We are most likely in a simulated universe

Plus it doesn't have to run in real time. This simulation can have paused for a billion years and then restarted but we would never know.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

I think it is a great way to advance our knowledge because it is like understanding that there is something beyond our planet. Ackowledging that creates so many more questions like dark matter etc. To me its about looking beyond our horizons. "What breathes fire into these equations? The usual...

Schapelle Corby: Innocent or Guilty- Your final verdict

I rekon Corby's pretty dumb and guilty. The pot was so obvious once you opened the bag. The risk she took was massively stupid, it was humungous and not hidden once u simply opened the zip.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

You are even more infuriatingly stupid! It does provide a simple answer for our creation. We can't possibly know how our creators are made because their universe might not be the same. There is no way to know, so the question is not shifted for now. For now, we would know how we exist, if the...

How anyone can like that movie is beyond me.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

It doesn't actually explain how those who created us exist. It tells us about our existance, and that is not where we started.

We are most likely in a simulated universe

If we are self aware but in a fake universe, we are far less important than if we were in the real universe. Think of it this way, that if we made a self aware robot, would it be as important as a human life? I dont think so. Incorrect. If a God does exist, God would not act in the same way...

    Black body HELP!

For the first question, one aspect of the answer would be that the classical theory (ie. as wavelength decreases, the radiation increases) does not fit with the experimental results. If the results say they don't, then they just don't
