sounds good, even if we order quite a few bundles of 10's they won't give out 20's.

you can get bundles of $20's??? I'm not a big change orderer, but thats because I hate counting it.

We still get change in rolls. They're a bitch to open, but they fit nicer in tills.

jirwin: you would either buy the change out of another register (well a supervisor would do it), swap registers, or deal with it.

I completely understand what you're saying, and thats why I liked smokeshop before. But now that I'm not on mains a lot (well not at all at the moment) I don't have that issue. Going back to tickets this weekend hopefully. I have missed that shift more than I ever thought I would!

Ours generally stays there, but she's hardly interested in doing anything. Our express and smokeshop is attached though, but of couse while the full timer would be able to stand around smokeshop talking when she had no customers, I had my own express register. I have work in an hour. I...

Like I said, a 7.30-5.30 smokeshop shift means you have to stay there 7.30-5.30 on ONE register. Being either sup or operator is better for me because I end up doing all sorts of stuff (ie cash office 'training' - such a deluded waste of time, bakery RTC's, covering the shifts for thursday that...

no offence, but those kind of ssm's annoy me. Though don't take me seriously, I'm hardly the poster girl for a customer-focussed staff member. I'm fairly laid back, and my store is ALWAYS busy so if we called an express alert every time we should then we'd have one half of our trading hours...

Re: Woolworths FAQ- how to get a job I don't know what it is about smokeshop that I don't like at the moment, but its annoying me. When I was weekend/thurs night smokeshop op I loved it, and I was really torn between keeping it versus more hours in nontrade (but this is like wayyyy back in...

Re: Woolworths FAQ- how to get a job we also get the red screens that tell you when to do pickups. I'm doing days in smokeshop this week. fricken hate it, except for the practically full time hours I've got. I have now mastered vf 29 cap without the screens coming up :p.
