    Uni start times

lol. to offer a serious answer though, no every course has the same number of contact hours either. and even in the same course, not everyone will have the same timetable. ie, i did the exact same units as someone else in my course last year. i was lucky enough to have a three day a week...

I'm not saying reports are interesting, I'm just noting that I need to do them, and thats why I need to be able to access that menu. But currently being able to log in as someone else is sufficient. Also, all of us have been taught to add/remove users and change privilege levels. Are we not...

    pretty pumped for uni?

Thats why I withdrew from my summer subject last week ;) I do love uni, but I wasn't ready to go back yet. Plus it was mighty expensive.

In my store void/refund reports are the responsibility of the closing supervisor. Quite often though they don't get done and they carry over to the next morning. So thats why supervisors in my store need to have office access at that level.

Our supervisors only have service supervisor though. Actually, now I've said that, no one who still works with us has Office access unless they have Service Manager access.

There's not much point having Office access unless you have Service Manager access at least. I'm in the system, but I'm not allocated to any menus (I used to have Office Cashier when I relieved in there as the role I am now but it got deleted). Everything I do needs Service Manager, so unless...

    Rules for Customers

The majority of customers don't even have registered EDR cards. When that function first came up on screen, I was telling people that their cards weren't registered. But since I'm not willing to register cards instore, I'm not telling people anymore. Also I'm glad that we don't have a...

Our newspapers have always been in Cigars, along with other misc things. My store has said no more than three bundles in each till, but of course people don't like this and order heaps more. We (my SSM/CSM and I) did a team talk last week on the issue, but its not really well supported by...

Haha, I was once in Kmart in full woolies uniform, and someone asked me where something was. I knew where it was, I told them, and that freaked the person out even more. fucking classic.

minimal study and pulling out with a mid 90?

not neccessarily, i had to work harder in my weaker subjects so they wouldn't pull me down further. what i more meant was to pick subjects that you would be good at, although seeing as this is in the hsc forum that advice has probably come too late. idk, i just see a lot of people telling...

minimal study and pulling out with a mid 90?

I haven't really read through the whole thread, so I'm sure someone has already said this, but the biggest thing that helped me was to play to your strengths subject wise. I'm best at english/history, and I was pretty good at PDHPE, so very good marks in those subjects made up for my not so...

    Generic University Questions

I'm not going to comment on a lot of this, because I don't go to UNSW and others have answered those questions fine. I do. Lots of people don't bother, but I'd say my marks were better because of that effort. Textbooks are expensive, but lecturers/unit coordinators are ALWAYS changing the...

    Rules for Customers

Agree with everything you said, particularly the bold. Also I wish my store didn't do saved transactions. People have had over three years here to get used to the new rules. Its time that they took enough cash out to cover their asses. We don't save for liquor, why should we save for...

I had an awful day today :( We were really short (due to hours being cut/no shows), and then around 4ish I got asked to work in deli. I've never done deli/seafood before, and the deli assistant in there was awful (I'm not actually sure if she works in my store, I know deli had sickies today so...

I prefer Murray St over the Enex100 store, but I sort of know where most stuff is in Murray St. I once went looking for Lindt Hot Chocolate in Enex and couldn't find it :( Murray St has ONE main - thats my kind of store. The security guards there are pricks though, I once bought batteries in...
