hes right, its been happening for years except the media has only really blown it up this year. I had a friend in my yr at USYD get 70 for a 78 cutoff and he was allowed in, another got 94 n got into BSc Adv at USYD which was 96.**

comm/arts allows 4 majors which would allow u 2 do psych+lang in arts or at unsw u can prob do com/sci+ dip.lang which is just a major in a lang

there have been many posts on this issue if u do a search. yes unsw is easier to get into honours; u need a Cr ave i think as opposed to a D ave at syd the course is apparently better at unsw because it is more practical and less old school

USYD has the most prestigious law school but its quality is starting to fall behind UNSW

CSU has arguably the best media course in the country
