ook but it sez 'process secondary sources' i didnt reli get it cuz they sed an eqn... n y wud u need to them....4 an eqn..but yeh.

missed dot pts

Ive almost completed my summary of the POM. subject. Cud sum1 juz fill me in on these absent dot pts... :} present info from secondary sources by writing a balanced equation for the fermentation of glucose to ethanol the galvanic cell prac.

Curve Sketching

Is the turning pt the pt of inflexion? dunno juz started this topic 1. Find the turning point on the curve f(x)=x^2 - 3x - 4 and determine the type (?) . Find the intercepts on the axes and sketch the curve.

Question from half yearly exam

huh? I thort tht the cyclo - group were juz distinguished by their structural formula- in a ring- n re: the prac testing reactivities of alkanes and alkenes, cyclohexene n cyclohexane were opted since they were liquid at room temp ... dunno tht q seems reli obscure .. does it actually relate to...

Heat of Combustion

ook.. higher molecular size = more intermolecular to break---> more energy required to do so?
7. angelxtearz

Heat of Combustion

but would the intermolecular forces be consistent through all the compounds eg. meth, eth, and propanol?
8. angelxtearz

Heat of Combustion

O so Ud never get isomers eg 1propanol 2 propanol, im juz askin cuz in jamesy science website, theres menshun o it :) n also, i kno tht the greater molecule size means greater boiling pt...n so forth. y iz diz so? cud sum1 plz explain thankyooz

Heat of Combustion

hmm i dun reli get the bit about molecule size, i get the bit about chain length coz propanol, methanol and ethanol are all from the same functional group. only differing by the chain length.

Heat of Combustion

Hi, I was just wondering what was being tested. On the sheet my teacher gave, it sed methanol, 2propanol, butanol and ethanol. However, according to Jamesy science website, he used 1 propanol n 2 propanol and methanol, ethanol and in my school txtbuk 'Spotlite' they had dffernet reagents, so...

nuclear chem

oh, wen i asked tht question i was reffering to the syllabus dot pt wif da 'production of commercial isotopes'' sorri 4 nut mentioning it b4. :P

nuclear chem

commercial isotopes from nuclear reactors- about 2000 radioisotopes created, mostly in the normal operation of nuclear reactors. -have short hald lives (hrs to sec) -several radioisotopes are used in medicine, industry & scientiffic research -generally produced in nuclear reactors (because...

metabolism n enzymes n homestasis

ok im tryin to create a flow chart is it homeostasis creates --> optimum conditions for enzymes --> metabolism? well basically, homeostasis creates optimum conditions for enzymes (pH n Temp) n since enzymes dictate metabolism since they catalyse metabolic processes creating metabolic...

cud sum1 plz review this describe how commercial radioisotopes are produced<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> radioisotopes are radioactive (instability of nucleus) this is due to 2 circumstances 1. too heavy nucleus (too...

ethanol as a fuel...(urgent!!!)

Time also reported on Ford's new state of the art car, which can run on gasohol, alcohol and ethanol, that applies to the 'current usage dot point'

nuclear chem

hmm and also anothing thing, the dt point sez, describe the recent discovery of elementS.. so focusing on one exclusively wudnt reli b answering it ... so yeh..
