People did I misread? Is this the lets fight over which Uni is the best forum? Lets face it, we live in Australia, they're all great! Honestly, can we have a little positivity around?
Oh, and has anyone checked the Excel Physics book? If so I would like the lowdown, thumbs up or thumbs down.

excel physics is really good for me
means i can stop filing the handouts the teacher gives us, which are straight out of it.. so now i have it all there nice and tidy =)
and its easy to understand
and im going to get 98+ i will i will
(power of positive thinking)

Needed UAI is somewhere from 83-87ish
Target UAI is 90+
Probably UAI... I have absolutely NO idea. I get anywhere from 80% to 100% in my assessments... some days I think I'll barely break my 90 mark, others I think over 95 is possible...

People wonder why I bite my nails >_< :rolleyes:

Aiming for: 100 (realistic chance I can get this, as long as I work bloody hard - I was ranked equal first in NSW in selective test but that measures potential not performance :rolleyes: )

Happy with: 99.9 +


I agree that it's kind of stupid to focus on a target rather than just an attitude though. Setting study goals or whatever is probably more helpful than setting UAI goals because you can't directly control your UAI.

How do you know where you were ranked? I didnt even get the results back, just that i was succesful in making it in.....i wonder if i was the other person who came first.......
