Haha yeah quite a depletion but you gotta admit, he's a complete player and they gave him the entire season to play halfback with Manly 2 years ago and did an amazing job of it. Why not? =)

Orford's better. Besides Monaghan had to shift to hooker to accomodate for the signing of Orford, only got his chance when orford got injured.

the fact is that orford in big games in the past has choked. simply he will only get picked for origin if injury occurs. i think gower is still next in line even though he is in poor form. anasta will start at 5/8 and minichello at the back is what will happen.

it looks bleak but the past has shown that origin brings the best out of everyone and we all know what can happen in origin crazy stuff it is!

I wish to be watching the Warriors v Sharks game on now. Looks to be exciting.

HotShot - 9 aren't showing either match. It's Saturday. NRL is never shown on saturday before the final rounds.

nrl is sueing telstra for non-payment, rough battle. no money for the league is a serious problem, i cannot believe that even though nrl sided with telstra in that highlights-release-rights saga, telstra has betrayed nrl's faith by not paying up. i reckon if this goes any worse, nrl will just have to get another sponsor mid-season.

depends on who gets picked really.

of those with some sort of chance of getting selected...

lyon, kimmorley, orford, collis, el masri off the top of my head can all kick goals. i think lyons the most likely out of that bunch cos the rest probably won't get selected

The commentary.. I heard the commentary on the radio for the eels match.

Benji injured again - man just when he is getting started. At least Tigers have Farah.:burn:

damn luke patten played well against the knights, saved a few line breaks.

the knights' defence is virtually non-existence in the first half. everytime the dogs gone down to their 20 they've socred. brian smith really needs to work on their defence, i think that's what been losing the games for them.

Surely not..

Gordon is a lot more talented than he is but I wouldn't go for either of them.

El Masri for my best bet. He can score and save them.

Hyperbolic language. Not one Penrith back, with the possible exception of Gower / Wesser, should even be considered for rep.

El Masri is too short lollers.

There is no point having MAsri - if we dont score tries.

El Masri should not be selected only for his kicking... and that is all he will be picked for...

People will try and justify it by the fact that he does score tries... but any winger is going to score tries if they get the pass after an overlap and only need to run a couple meters and fall over unopposed.

His kicking is not good enough to make up for what he lacks in general play.
