Re: Top 100 Schools - Daily Telegraph

A new law prohibits the publication in their print edition of rankings other than the top 10% of schools. As such only 100 schools are ranked this year. They could still publish more extensive lists on their website, but it remains to be seen whether they will.

:jaw:

i want to know my schools rank!

So will there be a PDF document of all 900+ schools coming into circulation on BoS anytime soon?

Haha my old school gets more shit every year.

My year at Sefton was #15! Hasn't come anywhere near that since, and now it's #68.

Ah well. I feel awesome.

Yeah I'm sure it was a combination of my year being particularly nerdy and the rest of HSC05 being a bit slow.

No, it was #28 in 2005. It came #15 in Maths. Be interesting to see what the maths results are...

I also noticed Sydney Tech (used to hover about 20th) is on the decline...Fort St (used to hover about 20th) and Hurlstone (used to hover about 30th) have swapped their usual places this year...and it looks like private schools are dominating this year!

Also, is it possible for you guys to post the rank of schools for Mathematics Extension 2?
