Probably a stupid question but where are all the residentials held for philosophy 2010???
Is it the university of New England or some other place?

What did you accelerate in + how did you go? Were you glad you accelerated?
Oh, I accelerated IPT and I got a 93 for it.
At first I really didn't like the theory work, but loved the major projects.
But umm, funnily enough, I learned to appreciate IPT theory... 2 days before the HSC exam.
And I guess, I'm content with my mark, though I think I could've done better, had I learned to like the subject more earlier on.
And i'm glad I took the course/ accelerated in it. Social and Ethical issues have been popping up everywhere. Haha.

I'm not too sure, but I know that at least one of the philosophy residentials (and the last cosmology residential) this year was held at the Conference Centre in Elanora Heights, Sydney :)

No - UNE would be hellish for most ppl to get to, (fortunatley) they're more considerate than that!

2 locations last year.
- Elanora Heights conference centre
- and one in Chatswood.

That is where both are this year as well.

How is everyone's reading going this year? I'm enjoying most of it and Horrison's problem was hilarious the first time I read it... I laughed then thought some more. I like this course for the subtle humour in the extracts :D

How's everyone going? :D

Enjoying Time and Cause? What'cha think of Jacosta?

Aquawhite: I found Hume particularly endearing. I keep picturing this cranky little old man every time I read his stuff. He's got that subtle sarcastic wit thing going on. ;)
