Just had a quick question, I recently got one of my assessment tasks from previous term (it was an essay and we got given the question). I did end up doing really well but my teacher pointed out that my handwriting is too big. The problem isn't that it isn't legible, its just that under pressure, I just tend to spam all my shit down in massive handwriting (to the point it is practically 3 words per line). My teacher said that this needs improvement however I just don't see the problem. Wouldn't you rather have massive handwriting that is legible as compared to smaller handwriting that may be more difficult to read. Ironically, my teacher left a few comments on my paper which were pretty difficult to read. When I ask her what it says, even she's confused what she exactly wrote😭

big handwriting is fine and better than small imo, but 3 words per line is insane. wouldn’t that have to be really wide letters to do that or are you using multiple lines to fix the proportions?

no cause it depends on the words really. Like I always tend to also scribble out multiple stuff sometimes especially if i remember an important stat/theory. So it just automatically becomes 3 words per line in most cases.

hope everyones first day at school was swell. i sat my first english trials (paper 1) today, leading up to the exam it was really nervewracking, doesn't help that it was like 13 degrees this morning so my hand felt soooo cold but legit as soon as the 10 minutes reading time began i was totally locked in. managed to write the most bullshit ive ever written in my entire education career but it felt good walking out of the door that i was 1/6 done with my internal exams. my essay question was something like: "to what extent does george orwell convey desire as a fundamental human experience in 1984" ... and if you guys have read 1984 you would probs understand my feeling of "WTF" when i read that question lulul i was like... desire, where??? i ended up just writing about desire for change that culminates in false hope, desire for control by the party and a selfconscious desire for self-autonomy or something dumb idk all my vocabulary went out the window as soon as i started writing :p

keep up with your studies guys and do lots of practice papers and questions !!! although trials are super scary, it legit all washes away when you're in the exam and your brain just goes instant fight mode LOL
