4u eng and 4u maths isn't worth it since you need to could 4 subject groups...
you will be wasting 2 units of either english or maths (assuming you are good at both)

Yeah, but if they don't find it hard, or they like it, where's the harm? Sure, it does seem like unecessary work, but *shrug* I've forgotten where I was going with this.

Hard for one person is not hard for another. ;) It's like that argument in that other thread _somewhere_ around, all over again. Something about how certain subjects are harder than others blah blah blah.

I think I'm boring the crap out of anyone who is reading this so I'll shut up now.

Agreed.

I'm 4 English, 3 Maths, but there are no 4 Eng, 4 Maths people at my school.

Sure is! I go better in 4u and 3u than i do in 2u. 2u sucks, and the texts suck. History and memory???!!!

u can get by 2unit by just working hard and not really knowing much english or thinking for urself, just regurgitating wat the teacher says and the syllabus outcomes.

3 and 4unit are easier because they are more conducive to thinking and being creative, u have to have some talent to be able to do them

They get a new topic to 'link' next year... "Journeys" I think. Compared to this year, sounds a hell of a lot better.

I'm the first person to "vote" for '4 u english + NO MATHS'? Wow, kind of strange considering half my Ext Eng 2 class did no maths at all like me.

Well, we have three who do 4u English and 2 units of maths (one general, two advanced), and one who does no maths at all.
