Im calling it right now, looking at the 2021 raw and scaled marks data on an exam that was arguably quite a bit easier than 2024, the scaling this year will defo be great.

id wager a guess and say 75/76 is more reasonable, but then again im not so sure alignment will be as good as we all think. hopefully nesa saves us

Can I ask, how are you doing 3 extensions? Do they not clash? For me, I want to do history extension but they clash, and the teachers will not change it.

but also take into consideration that 2021 people had covid/online learning and even though NESA wouldnt directly factor in covid into the alignment a lotta kids might've gotten bad because of how hard it was to do online learning so that might've dropped the average and yeah

no they don't clash, english and maths extension 1 are year 11 and 12 courses so i took them in y11 and had just enough lessons to fit into the school day with no classes out of class hours. in y12 i am picking up maths extension 2 which will require lessons outside of school hours but since i have accelerated advanced maths it will be integrated into my schedule

my school made it so that the subject combinations that people frequently do together don't overlap
