Hi! I'm Janice Ye, a first year student currently studying a bachelor in engineering and science at UNSW, looking to tutor high school students in STEM subjects. In 2024, I graduated from Tara Anglican School with a 99.55 ATAR, having completed the English Advanced, Maths Extension 1, Maths Extension 2, Chemistry, and Physics courses. Having volunteered as a peer tutor for 2+ years during my senior years and equipped with detailed, recent knowledge of the current HSC syllabus, I look forward to helping you achieve those top marks in your STEM subjects.
INTERNAL RANKS || HSC MARKS
Maths Ext 1 - 1st || 96
Maths Ext 2 - 2nd || 95
Physics - 1st || 95
Chemistry - 2nd || 91
SERVICES
I am currently offering private and group tutoring (online or IRL - but contact for latter) for the following subjects:
HSC & Preliminary:
- Mathematics (all levels, ie. Standard, Adv, Ext 1, Ext 2)
- Chemistry
- Physics
Years 10 and below:
- Mathematics
- Science
My tutoring sessions will include help with homework, assessments, study skills, practice papers/questions, creating/revising notes, and fully comprehending harder topics -> I will break down difficult concepts into smaller and more straightforward chunks, making these subjects easier and more enjoyable to study. However, my tutoring will be catered to each student, and thus am happy to assist in any other way requested, including moving forward with accelerated content or revising past topics. Students will gain access to my own notes as well as other resources such as past papers, practice questions, sample responses and notes.
RATES (for private - please contact for group session pricing)
- HSC & Preliminary: $60/hr
- Year 10 & below: $50/hr
